New Artist/Maker/Technologist Workspaces and Gallery 15 Canal Place near 138th Street Bronx Kreate Hub is a new, affordable, quality work space and community incubator in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the South Bronx. Kreate Hub was one of twelve transformational projects awarded strategic investments by Governor Cuomo as part of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative in July 2018. Kreate Hub offers shared and private studio spaces, that can accommodate artists, makers, and technologists. The facilities include modern amenities, a publicly accessible art gallery and café, exhibition space for community use, and maker markets. All of our members have access to an wide range of amenities, including: Wi-Fi, mail and package reception, electric key system, gallery space, conference rooms, exhibitions and maker markets. All utilities (Wi-Fi, Central A/C, heat, electricity, water) are included in the membership. Open 24/7. Price points begin at $375 monthly and go up to $1375, depending on size, configuration, and natural light. WALLWORKS, an established Bronx contemporary art gallery has moved into Kreate Hub. WALLWORKS is dedicated to showcasing art from emerging local artists as well as recognized global artists. The passion project of legendary Bronx graffiti pioneer John “CRASH” Matos seeks to remind people of the rich culture of the Bronx, and encourage everyone to take a trip uptown.
